Most likely to be a non-specific viral rash given the other symptoms that are coinciding. should settle with time. [Anonymous Doctor]

Thank you for your comment. Yes, it has settled down quite a bit. My doctor told me that once the oil glands settle down the symptoms should go away within a few days.

He told me this reaction was a result of the immune system over reacting to an infection.

But I have no idea how he got this infection. I suffer from rashes all the time, so I thought maybe he got it from me.
