Don't Take These Vitamins!!!

Be careful taking this supplement because it is an unnatrual amount of collagen for your body to absorb and can have adverse effects.

I took this vitamin for 15 days and my face swelled and became lumpy and lopsided. I was taking the pills mainly for my hair, skin and nails, however, I was not aware that it would 'plump' up my face. I have looked like a monster for several weeks now.

It is gradually dissipating, however, it it taking a much longer time than I had hoped. I only weigh about 120 pds and my face looks like I'm a heavy set woman. I hate it and will NEVER take any type of collagen supplements again!!!

I am taking protein supplements to get the toxins out of my system per another post, hopefully they will work.

Natrol's Biosil is not a collagen supplement. It is a natural form of orthosilic acid, which is a biologically active form of silicon.

This natural form of silicon increases your body's level of hydroxyproline. Hydroxyproline is an amino acid which the body uses to produce collagen and elastin - which can support healthy hair, nails, joints, capillaries, and arties.

Several studies where done using this exact product – Natrol Biosil – including a long term study by the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy where researchers discovered that this original Biosil helped support healthy stronger hair and skin.

To date, there have not been any significant side-effects or problems reported with this particular form on Biosil.

Keep in mind that there are many different supplements on the market that are formulate for hair and skin.

Many of these supplements contain a variety of ingredients such as horse tail extract and B vitamins. Some even claim to contain collagen…….but these are not the same as Natrol's Biosil.

In any event, it is always wise to stop using any supplement you believe is causing side effects or problems and speak with your doctor.
