Biosil before surgery

Is it ok to continue taking Biosil before surgery? Does it thin the blood like aspirin?

Hi Connie,

Thank you for your question regarding Biosil, drug interactions, and surgery.

As far as I can tell, Biosil does not have the same blood thinning effects as aspirin.

But it's always best to check with your doctor about any supplements or medications you're taking before having any type of surgery.

There are many natural supplements (like Vitamin C, Green Tea and Fish Oil) that should be eliminated several weeks prior to surgery.

So don't wait too long. Write down all the drugs, vitamins, minerals, and herbs you are currently taking and show this list to your doctor or surgeon.
