Anti-Wrinkle Copper Peptide Pillow CaseThe latest war on wrinkles now lets you sleep your wrinkles away. We all know that the skin does most of it's rejuvenation during the night while we sleep. And, that copper peptides have extraordinary skin rejuvenating capabilities.....so why not combine the two and make a copper infused pillow case?Clinical trials conducted by an independent firm found that a Cuprotex Anti-Wrinkle pillow case can improve the skin tone and texture while sleeping. In addition, not only does the skin appear rejuvenated after a good nights sleep on a copper infused pillow case, but it also helps to reduce bacteria, fungi, and odors that tend to accumulate on the pillow case.
According to New York plastic surgeon, Dr. Yael Halaas who has been usingthe Cupron Copper Pillow Case for several months (She said she has no commercial ties with the company.) "I think it's fabulous for acne control, copper can be a natural antibiotic." She also stated that copper pillow cases may stimulate collagen production and possible accelerate tissue growth. Dr. Halaas referenced a double blind study, commissioned by Cupron, where 57 people were asked to sleep on the Cupron copper pillowcase for four weeks. The results, compared to those who slept on a placebo pillow case, found that there was a significant reduction in the appearance of facial wrinkles, crows feet and fine lines. In addition, participants saw an improvement in skin texture and overall appearance of facial skin. Most people started to notice the difference in just under 2 weeks.
However, there are some skeptics. Dr. Leslie Baumann of the University of Miami Cosmetic Medicine and Research Institute is not completely convinced that the copper pillow is able to penetrate the skin deeply enough to provide any benefits. She feels more studies are needed.
Well maybe the combination between copper peptide creams and the pillow case we can get the results were looking for...Want More information on copper peptides and the Cupron Pillow Case Click here.
Homemade Chocolate Facial MaskWhat's Valentines Day without a little chocolate? We've all heard the great news about chocolate having wonderful antioxidant properties.....now you can enjoy these benefits without expanding your waist line - and get tighter, smoother, more hydrate skin too!Cocoa powder is loaded with antioxidants and can nourish the skin. But when you add a little honey which is a powerful humectant, you get a great recipe for a toning mask that also helps the skin retain moisture - something we all can use during these drying winter months. I just want to warn you though....this mask can get a little messy so do it over the sink and have lots of towels handy.
For best results, always clean your skin first, then apply the mask. One precaution: If you have certain food allergies or sensitivities, please don't include it in your facial mask. If you’re uncertain, try a small amount on your skin, leaving it for a few minutes, then rise. Look for any sign of irritation. Chocolate Facial Mask: Mix the two together. You can also add a 1/4 cup of yogurt for exfoliating purposes. After mixing let the ingredients sit for a few minutes to allow them to blend well. Apply all over face and neck. Leave on for about 10-15 minutes. Rinse your skin thoroughly afterward and apply a good moisturizer. Want more homemade skin masks and facial recipes? Click here for more Glowing Skin Tips.
Latest ResearchA New Drug To Fight Wrinkles?Wrinkles develop for two main reasons; our natural skin fibers (elastin and collagen) weaken with age so our skin becomes looser and much thinner. And, gravity takes its toll by pulling on the skin causing it to stretch even further.
A New Wrinkle Drug? Recently, scientists discovered a potential “wrinkle treatment” in a cancer treatment medication called 5-fluorouracil. When this drug was administered intravenously to cancer patients, doctors noticed a beneficial side effect was a reduction of red and brown scaly skin spots that usually develop in cancer patients. This led them to develop a topical form of 5-fluorouracial (EFUDEX®) and found that when applied to the skin, it caused smoother, softer, younger looking skin. This prompted researchers at the University of Michigan to further study the anti-aging effects of this topical drug cream on 21 participants with actinic keratoses and sun damaged skin. They found that 5-fluorouracial stimulated wound healing and skin remodeling - similar to a mild chemical or laser peel. While more studies need to be performed, it may be the next new drug on the horizon for treating wrinkles and general facial rejuvenation.

Featured Product: Healthy Mineral Foundation For Aging SkinMany of us are aware of - or use mineral foundation. For some - especially younger women - it's perfect. For mature complexions ....it tends to be too drying or seems to settle into those little lines and wrinkles. And for those who are not very handy - it can be difficult to use and hard to apply just the right amount for that "perfect" coverage.Well, hold onto you kabuki brushes....this is different. This super silky (like a second skin) mineral foundation is perfect for most women - even those over 40. It's super easy to use because it comes in it's own pump brush container. This small, easy to use pump brush contains shaved, loose powder that delivers the perfect amount of mineral makeup each time you pump it. There is no need to carry a loose powder container AND a separate kabuki brush.....so this fits nicely into your purse.
